Congratulations on taking the first step in creating your own road to wealth.
EK Financial Group has been family owned and operated since 1987 when its founder, Edward Kane dedicated his life to building a financial planning firm from the ground up so he could help make a difference in peoples lives.
When Eddie’s son Aaron turned 21, he started working for the family business as he also had a passion for finance and money, but importantly he wanted to help their clients grow wealth and live a lifestyle they dreamed of. Twelve years on and now Aaron is running the business while Edward eases into retirement with his wife Maria.
Aaron is now looking forward to growing the family business and continuing to deliver personalised service to all of their clients like his dad had done for so many years before him.
“We value family, we value small business and we just love what we do”
“At EK Financial Group we develop strategies tailored to meet individual needs of our clients and ensure a comfortable and safe ride to and beyond retirement.
We achieve this through coaching and education together with personalised service and an ongoing relationship built on respect and trust.”
Our advice packages are designed for you
We are committed to making sure our fees are transparent, understood and agreed to by you. Our preferred method of payment is by an agreed fee. The actual fee charged to you will depend on the nature of the advice or service we provide and how complex your situation is. We will discuss and agree on the actual fees with you before we proceed.
Initial Advice Fee: The actual agreed fees will depend on factors such as the complexity of your circumstances, goals you wish to achieve and the scope of advice. As a minimum, you will be required to pay an initial advice fee which covers time for our advice which includes calculations and forecasting, research of your existing products and current strategies in play, plus determining alternatives to best suit your circumstances. This initial advice fee will also include time to present this advice for you. This initial advice fee is payable whether you agree to implement the advice or not.
Our initial advice fee starts at $3,300 inc GST.
Implementation / Execution Fee: After we have presented the advice to you, we then need to implement this advice to make sure you are on track and working towards your goals. Our team of professionals will then spend the time implementing this advice for you and making sure it is set up exactly as expected and is 100% correct for you. An implementation fee will be charged to cover the time for our support team and advisers to implement your advice so you don’t have to worry about filling in complex paperwork. This makes the process hassle-free for you so you can concentrate on getting back to what you enjoy most.
Our implementation / execution fee starts at $550 inc GST.
Yes, the cost for an initial consultation with our advisers is $250 plus GST and will be paid either at the end of the meeting or when you are booked in via credit/debit card. The initial consultation meeting can be expected to be 90-120 minutes depending on your situation. This initial consultation fee will then be credited towards your initial advice fee after we have all agreed to work together.
After the initial consultation meeting and once we have commitment to proceed…we expect to have your advice ready to present to you in approximately 4 week’s time.
Its your choice, you can pay via credit/debit card or through the recommended investment platform that we implement for you, i.e. from your investments.
WE MAKE THIS EASY FOR YOU, AND IT’S YOUR CHOICE
The initial advice we provide is just the beginning of our ongoing relationship. To keep your goals on track we have ongoing service specifically designed for you based on your goals and how complex the next few years of your life may be.
We are committed to making sure our fees are transparent, understood and agreed to by you. Our preferred method of payment is by a fixed fee per annum. The actual fee charged to you will depend on the nature of the advice or service we provide and how complex your situation is. We will discuss and agree the actual fees with you before we proceed. We provide ongoing services to help you stay on track to meet your goals. Our ongoing service fees vary depending on the scope and complexity of services provided.
We make this simple and it’s your choice. We only offer one (1) or two (2) advice reviews in a 12 month period.
Yes, all clients that have signed up for ongoing advice have access to our team and your adviser all year round for queries, general advice and even a quick coffee catch up. If a new situation has arisen in your life then there may be new initial advice fee required, if so we will discuss this with you.
The minimum ongoing advice cost is $375 per month ($4,500 per annum) inc GST.
We only charge clients an advice fee ongoing when we know that our advice will deliver more value to your lives than the actual cost required to receive that advice.
You can pay via a monthly direct debit from a bank account, credit/debit card or through the recommended investment platform that we implement for you, i.e. from your investments. It may also be a combination of both; direct debit and via your investments. Everyone’s situation is different so we can show you the best way to structure this based on your own circumstances.
